Oberammergau & Reformation Heritage Tour

June 5-16, 2020

Greetings! I am Pastor Rebecca Heber, OASIS Church (NALC), Lake Mary, Florida. As co-host with Pastor Will Hartfelder of Columbus, Ohio, a veteran host of multiple tours to Germany & Israel, I cordially invite you to join us for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend the world-famous Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany, performed only once every ten years, & to visit other sites of historic significance as we trace the steps of the German Reformer, Martin Luther, to AUGSBURG, site of the Augsburg Confession; COBURG, with its massive Veste Coburg fortress where Luther took refuge & lived during the Diet of Augsburg; ERFURT, the spiritual home of Luther, where he studied at the University & turned to theology & the monastic life at the Augustinian Monastery; EISENACH, with its magnificent Wartburg Castle; EISLEBEN, where Luther was born in 1483 & died in 1546; & WITTENBERG, home of the famous Castle Church where Luther posted his 95 Theses on Oct. 31, 1517, sparking the protestant Reformation. Other sites of special interest include a visit to “Mad” King Ludwig’s NEUSCHWANSTEIN CASTLE, located at the foot of the spectacular Bavarian Alps, the CHURCH IN THE MEADOWS, one of the most famous examples of Roccoco architecture, traveling the ROMANTIC ROAD past quaint towns & villages before arriving for an overnight stay in ROTHENBURG, a nearly intact medieval walled city with its cobblestone streets, Castle Gardens, famous altar carving by Tilman Riemenschneider in St. Jakob’s Church, & the charming Rathaus & Glockenspiel. Panoramic sightseeing tours of the major & most beautiful sights of BERLIN & MUNICH make this an Itinerary – offered through Jerusalem Tours – one that every traveler, adventurer, & history-lover will enjoy & be enriched by. I hope YOU can join us on this extremely popular Tour to see the world-renowned Oberammergau Passion Play & land of the Reformation! The trip will fill up fast, especially due to the high demand for tickets to see the Play, with performances only once a decade! Don’t miss out – SECURE YOUR SPOT TODAY by contacting me!
